PITTSBURGH, PA, September 9, 2021 – Redcon Engineering welcomes Brooke Hamberger, a new Senior Engineer, to our growing team. Brooke, a 2015 Geneva College graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and concentration in Environmental Engineering, will join the Civil Department. Originally from Jessup, Maryland, she learned at a young age her passion in engineering. “My granddad is an electrical engineer, and in elementary school, I worked with him to build a model log flume for a local engineering competition. I was hooked! In high school, I learned more about the lack of clean drinking water in many countries, and wanted to be a part of the solution as an engineer,“ Brooke said.

Keith Straight, Principal and leader of the Civil Department, said, “Her knowledge of engineering software will promote productivity, efficiency, performance, and will help solve complex engineering issues that many Authorities and Municipalities face today.” Brooke brings previous wastwater and leadership experience and is eager to diversify her engineering abilities to grow the company’s Water and Wastewater Division.
